For this edition of the ECHOisONE podcast series, we have a very special guest. Nastia, from Ukraine, delights us with an amazingly built up set, characterized by hypnotic sounds strong percussions and groovy bass.

1) We understand that you worked as a promoter and event organizer before. How important was it for your DJ career to host your own events?
>>> I am still doing that, but much less. Now, I am running our festival in collaboration with our best club in Ukraine called Closer. We are doing Strichka Festival in Kiev in May for my birthday. It is super nice and a totally new experience for me. We had our 1st edition this year and it was something special and unusual. And this week, on the 13th of December, I have my party at that club. It’s gonna be a showcase of my label Propaganda Rec. with Dan Andrei, Giovanni Verrina & Ventura, Yate and me. And these are only 2 parties I do in a year. For me, that’s more than enough.
Why I am doing that? If I like to host my own events? Of course! Especially my birthday! Because so many international friends are coming to celebrate it with me and I am so much happy to show them Ukraine and Kiev in it’s best. The party I make is so much different from all the ones I have during the year. I organize many private things for my friends, taking them to the best restaurants and show them my city. That is my point – to share as much as I can. I am very capricious in organization and I invest a lot of my own money to make everyone comfortable and happy.

2) You’ve been a resident at Arma17 in Moscow since 2010… What changes happened within your career since that moment?
>>> The Arma17 family gave me a lot to grow up as an artist. I learned so many things with them, I saw something different, something that made me better than I was. A lot of experimental music, alternatives, visuals.. and all together it was extremely impressive. There is no other club like Arma17 in the world and I definitely feel myself as a part of it. I moved on very fast with them.
