Biography

Mirko Loko began his career in the late 1990s in Lausanne’s clubs and on Swiss national radio Couleur 3. Over the years, he has become one of the key figures of the Swiss electronic scene, earning a solid international reputation.

In 2015, he founded the Polaris Festival in Verbier, now regarded as one of the leading mountain music events in Europe.

Mirko has been remixed by legendary artists such as Ricardo Villalobos and Carl Craig (one of his own mentors) and has collaborated in the studio with Martina Topley-Bird (Massive Attack), Ursula Rucker (The Roots), Francesco Tristano, Derrick May, and Stacey Pullen, releasing on prestigious labels such as Cod3 QR, Planet E, K7, Border Community, Cocoon, and Visionquest.

His productions are defined by a distinctive groove and refined textures that have become the hallmark of his creative universe.
